Pope Leo XIV Calls for Global Fasting [TODAY] to Aid Ukraine, Middle East Peace Efforts

Pope Leo XIV urged Christians around the world on Wednesday to participate in fasting and prayer for world peace on Friday, the commemoration of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

In his message, the pope specifically named the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the war between Israel and the jihadist terror organization Hamas as situations desperately in need of impassioned Christian prayer. Pope Leo has focused heavily on praying for peace in both those conflicts and offered his mediation services repeatedly since being elected to lead the Catholic Church on Earth in May.

The pope has also maintained communications with leaders of the involved countries, recently welcoming Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the Vatican in July.

Trump’s massive $500M civil fraud fine in AG Tish James’ case thrown out by NY appeals court

President Trump won a huge, symbolic victory Thursday when a New York appeals court threw out the more than $500 million fine he owed in Attorney General Letitia James’ business fraud case.

The Appellate Division, First Department, overturned the whopping $464 million judgment against Trump, 79, but upheld a finding that the real estate tycoon-turned-president engaged in fraud by exaggerating his net worth for decades.

“I had a victory today. You know, they stole $550 million from me with a fake case, and it was overturned,” Trump told dozens of law enforcement officers later Thursday during a visit related to his crime crackdown in Washington, DC.

Trump administration reviewing all 55 million people with U.S. visas for potential deportable violations

The State Department said Thursday that it’s reviewing the records of more than 55 million foreigners who hold valid U.S. visas for potential revocation or deportable violations of immigration rules.

In a written answer to a question posed by The Associated Press, the department said that all U.S. visa holders are subject to “continuous vetting” with an eye toward any indication that they could be ineligible for the document.

Should such information be found, the visa will be revoked and, if the visa holder is in the United States, he or she would be subject to deportation.

This Baby Was Frozen for 30 Years Before He Was Born

Thaddeus (Thad) Daniel Pierce isn’t a typical baby. He took his first breath 31.6 years after he was conceived! Thad was frozen in time. Thad is similar to another newborn who was frozen for 30 years and then birthed by a mother who was in her early 30s. Thad’s story raises all kinds of questions and concerns.

In the meantime, Congress is about to wade into this controversy by using our federal tax dollars to give the military a blank check for unlimited in vitro fertilization (IVF). We the taxpayers would be paying to create an unlimited number of children like Thad with an unrestricted number of IVF treatments — and taxpayers would have to cover ALL THE EXPENSES!

Congress needs to hear from you now as it is debating the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which includes this IVF provision.

Cracker Barrel Is Dead, And Its Stupid Woke CEO Killed It With Gay Nonsense

Cracker Barrel’s new logo — and its miserable attempt to reinvent itself — is obviously a complete disaster, whether in terms of customer backlash or the company’s stock price.

But the real reason Cracker Barrel has been struggling is that its service and food quality nosedived after Covid, and instead of fixing that, the company and its woke executives decided to go full Bud Light and taste the rainbow and dare its customers to object.

Villanova University said a report of a possible shooter at its law school was a “cruel hoax,” after it issued an alert warning of an active shooter on its Pennsylvania campus on Thursday.

“Mercifully, no one was injured, and we now know that it was a cruel hoax — there was no active shooter, no injuries and no evidence of firearms present on campus,” Villanova President Rev. Peter Donohue said in a statement to the school community. “While that is a blessing and a relief, I know today’s events have shaken our entire community.”

UK Gov’t Panic: Contacts Private Residencies to House Hotel Migrants Amid Legal Challenges

In an act of apparent desperation, Britain’s left-wing government has begun contacting thousands of private rental properties to potentially house tens of thousands of supposed asylum seekers after a legal challenge threatens to quash the use of hotels to house mostly young male illegals in local communities.

The UK’s asylum accommodation programme was thrown into chaos this week, as the High Court ruled in favour of the Epping Forest district council to shut down the controversial Bell Hotel, which sparked a wave of anti-mass migration protests after one of its residents, an illegal alien from Ethiopia, allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl in Essex.

Known as the Doctor of Moral Theology, Saint Alphonsus “was able to find a balanced synthesis of the laws of God and the dynamics of man’s conscience and freedom, at the same time assuming a charitable, understanding, and patient attitude towards his brethren, thus becoming a visible sign of God’s infinite mercy,” the Pope said.

Priest Urges Devotion to Immaculate Heart in ‘Tremendously Critical’ Times

At a London symposium, Franciscan Father Stefano Manelli, co-founder of the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate, called for consecration, penance and prayer in response to today’s grave dangers.

The salvation of countless souls and peace in the world depend on mankind properly responding to the Lord’s command — made through the apparitions at Fatima and elsewhere — to spread devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary throughout the world. …

In an impassioned talk entitled “Fatima and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,” Father Manelli said that if the warnings at Fatima, Portugal, more than a century ago were heeded, Our Lady would intervene in a “completely inscrutable way” to “prevent the ruin of materialistic humanity, gone mad behind the false idols of Satan’s kingdom.”
