Trump's 'Catholic' Administration

The spiritual war continues

It's been barely a week since the 'Return of the King,' and Communist-Democrats and RINO heads all over the Washington, DC are exploding.

"Trump is picking loyalists to him" to fill his administration is a fair sum up of the cries and cringing of the ruling class.

Well, yes; just as every president does. Each occupant of the Oval Office comes in with a worldview, a governing strategy based on that worldview, and then appoints people who share the same grand vision.

Are we to think that Eric Holder was not "loyal" to Obama or Merrick Garland is not "loyal" to Joe Biden?

What so irks the Communist-Democrats is not that Trump is populating his administration with people loyal to him, but "loyal" to his worldview; they just need to portray, pretend, fake, lie about it, as though it's a loyalty based on personality and not agenda.

That pretense, however, completely evaporates when you think just one layer down, philosophically. Why are they drawn to Trump and "loyal" to him?

Answer – precisely because of his worldview and his vision for America, which entails obviously the role of government.

Not a single man on earth is universally liked; likewise no man in history is liked in totality by his friends, admirers – even family. No one.

After all, even the Perfect Man was agitated against behind the scenes by the religious leaders, abandoned by His apostles and executed by the Roman Empire. So much for universal acclaim, "likeability" and personal "loyalty."

But what stands out in the Trump soon-to-be administration (gosh, it feels great to write that) is precisely a referral to Christ – specifically, Christ the King and Judge.

Recall that when Jesus Christ was last publicly seen on earth, he was executed for treason by the State – a judgment that even the judge in his case knew was unjust, but ordered anyway. No amount of washing of hands erases the evil of injustice.

The very first singular act of Christ on the Last Day will be to "sit upon His glorious throne" not so much as King (although that is correct as well) – it will be as JUDGE. It's why the specific day is called "judgment day."

The greatest act of injustice in the history of the universe was the injustice carried out against Him – all other injustices pale in significance when measured against the trial, verdict and execution of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

But that is the last public sighting of Christ. He died a convicted felon and was assigned a grave among evildoers. So before Christ the Judge begins the work of the Last Day – which is to reveal and mete out justice for each person, to correct all the injustices in the history of the world, He will first correct the supreme injustice, by righting the record in His own case.

Last seen – a convicted criminal; forever seen as the King of Justice and Lord of lords. That's quite the scene at the closing of human history.

This reality has been preached since the time of Christ Himself and His Apostles, who were the first to hear it foretold by Him. And from that moment on, it has played a central role in the 2,000 years of salvation history.

Justice is key to understanding salvation. In fact, Christ's Mercy is only properly understood in reference to His Divine justice. If we did not each face justice, mercy would be devoid of any charity.

This understanding has permeated Catholic teaching since He first established the Church on Peter at Capernaum and brought Her into full visibility at Pentecost through the Holy Spirit.

One could make a very cogent argument that justice – its administration, its rejection, the embrace of it, the plotting against it – is the central aspect around which all human history revolves.

Everything – from personal relations to the establishment of governments and empires – boils down to justice and how it is approached, apprehended and either embraced or rejected – because how justice is meted out defines how a person (whether a father, a friend, an enemy or a ruler) treats others.

So gazing back and scrutinizing the brouhaha over Trump's nominees, accusations of "revenge" by those who either misused justice and/or supported that misuse reveal their worldviews quite plainly and visibly.

Consider any of the positions you would like – each nominee, expressly or not, has promised justice will be administered.

In fact, among the MAGA crowd numbering nearly 75 million, loyalty is much more to the worldview of Trump than him personally. He is just the living, breathing, walking, talking embodiment of that worldview – just as millions of Kamala supporters "supported" her, not so much for her as a person, but her worldview of universal child-killing.

Trump's worldview – and therefore governing – necessarily entails justice and its administration. Many of those in DC opposed to his worldview are terrified of justice coming their way – and it IS coming.

So the battle and recriminations and accusations against his various nominees and appointees are nothing more than proxy wars.

Trump is populating the ranks of his administration with those who hold a "Catholic" worldview regarding justice – whether they are actually baptized and practicing Catholics or not (although quite a few are.)

They subscribe to the natural law that injustices must be corrected. It's like a mini-judgment day for many in the Deep State and they are pulling out all stops to prevent its dawning.

They might notch a win here or there on some procedural or technical ground with a nominee or appointee, but in the end, justice is coming – and what justice they are able to escape in the present, will be awaiting them at both their personal judgment at the moment of death and the full public revelation of that justice on Judgment Day.

The 'Return of the King' holds a much deeper reference than just a victory in a presidential election.

Well, yeah. "To the victor, belong the spoils." --Andrew Jackson (D)

Also, "Elections have consequences." as Obummer quipped.

And, "You will reap the whirlwind!" as Chuck Schumer (AKA the Penguin) boasted, or rather, threatened. Here it comes, Chuckie.

The Dems never intended their attitudes and actions to be applied to themselves. THAT'S what makes them quiver.

The Leftists are now screaming about 'loyalty to Donald Trump' as though that is a bad thing. What they cannot understand is the integrity that fosters loyalty; integrity is a concept forever foreign to the Left.

President Trump now has…
