Two weeks away from a critical election, Michigan still hasn't cleaned up its voter rolls.
The state will again be a hotly-contested and critical battleground for both campaigns.
There are 500,000 more registered voters in Michigan than people old enough to vote.
Republicans have sued to have fake votes removed, concerned over voter fraud.
But Michigan Democrats say they cannot remove the registrations until 2027.
Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (D) says her office “rigorously maintained the lists."
She believes the lawsuits are simply "laying the groundwork" to contest election results.
Benson stated she can remove up to 360,000 fake voters after the election, in 2025.
But that is too little, too late to ensure election integrity in the state.
