Citizens needed to help ensure fair elections on Nov. 5
Hello, Election Warriors!
If you are concerned about Election Security in November’s presidential election, now is the time to step up and become part of the counting process.
We are looking for an army of Christians to step up to work the election. Because of early voting, the days to work can be anywhere from 10 days before the actual election up through Election Day, Nov. 5.
Our goal is to have a Republican seated as a worker at each of the tables for each day of early voting and Election Day. By law, cities and counties across our great country must hire an equal number of Democrats and Republicans to work the polls. However, some have repeatedly failed to do this, claiming they didn’t get enough Republican applicants. There is a lawsuit in Detroit for this very reason – the Detroit Election Board has hired 2,300 Democrats, but only 300 Republicans. As the imbalance is challenged in court, this is where you come in! We need trustworthy people to work for the integrity of our Presidential election.
This is a paid position. You will be paid depending on the "classification" of your job. Entry-level pay begins at $300 a day (based on what was paid for the primary). We will update this information as we learn more.
You must be trained by your city or county Board of Elections in order to get your credentials and get paid. Training runs for two-and-a-half hours, and is held at your city or county offices. Training times will be scheduled up through the early weeks of October. (Note: You will not be paid for the training.) The hours can range from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (or later) depending on what day you are assigned to work. Officials may request that you work more than one day, or that you work additional time on Election Day, for which additional compensation is provided.
Please check to see if you have an Action Network Captain in your state to help you navigate this process. You will have to request, receive (usually by email) and complete forms in full; and mail them back to your Board of Elections by the end of September, including your full 9-digit SSN on both (this is a paid position, so they need your SSN for payroll). Sign and date in ink, and include on a separate sticky note this message: I am a Republican, MCL 168.674 requires clerks to hire an equal number of Republican to Democrat election workers. Return your completed application by regular mail to your Board of Elections – Attn: TRAINING.
Call to follow up after 6 days to make sure they received your application and to get your training time. Watch for emails from your Clerk’s office also. You may have to be persistent.
Please, if you fill out an application to work, it is imperative that you notify Souls and Liberty Action Network that you have applied, and then send us a copy or picture of your application or confirmation that you received from your County Clerk stating that they received your application. This will enable us to track the number of applicants and support you with necessary training and other information.

Here’s what we’ve learned from a seasoned election official: "Please note that the Democrats have effectively outlawed poll challengers over the past two years. In view of this, I’m no longer a fan of devoting much energy to poll challenging efforts. Poll workers still have a key role to play in ensuring that election operations are conducted in a lawful manner, but, frankly, opportunities to commit fraud lie well upstream of their involvement."
Note: Poll watchers are essentially poll challengers that can’t speak with anyone. Since they are typically assigned a viewing area far away from any election operations, there is not much value in this oversight effort except for fraud deterrence by being present at the counting facilities.
